At one point or another, every actor is confronted with the prospect of working for free. If it isn’t performing live, it’s working on a student film, or an internet short, or some other performance venue… But is it really free?

Fishermen are the perfect example of success being dependent on small, seemingly insignificant tasks.
This weekend, I received a comment on a recent post about professional headshots and it brought up an ongoing misconception that many actors have:
‘Even lighting, shallow depth of field, and a 10 minute photoshop touchup are not hard to explain… Guys like you are greedy @$$holes that spread disinformation.’
